LATEST2 Programme Project Manager

She leads the Administrative Support Team, specific responsibilities include the overall project management of the LATEST2 Programme, staff and student recruitment, monitoring and reporting on the performance of the Programme and helping to ensure it is on track to deliver the vision and objectives on time and within budget. She helps to develop and manage existing and new external and internal collaborations with key stakeholders, and attract new funding to the Programme. Additionally she is responsible for developing the communication strategy, advertising and promotion including website development. Other aspects of her role include IP and risk management, information management including data collection, storage and dissemination.

LATEST2 and Advanced Metallics Systems Science Communications Officer

She is responsible for the development and implementation of the outreach strategy for LATEST2 and Advanced Metallics CDT, to promote the awareness of these initiatives, the EPSRC and Engineering and Physical Sciences in general.  She actively develops contacts with members of industry, professional bodies, external organisations, museums, teachers and careers advisors in local schools and colleges. She organises a wide range of exhibitions, recruitment events, and open days/workshops both in house and with external organisations, as well as an extensive programme of visits to and from local schools and colleges. She also aims to establish robust monitoring and evaluation procedures for outreach activities and contributes to the development of promotional materials and the website.

LATEST2 Programme Administrative Assistant

She provides a wide ranging administrative support role across the whole Programme, working particularly closely with the Programme Director, Project Manager, Outreach Administrator and Co-Investigators.  She provides secretarial support, and is responsible for placing and receipting orders, booking accommodation and transport for the Team. She plays a very active role in organising a wide range of meetings, workshops, symposia and conferences, including promotion of the events and booking of the appropriate venues. She also contributes to the development and implementation of the LATEST2 Management Information System, promotional materials and the website and regularly assists and participates in outreach activities.
