The EPSRC is the only dedicated national funder of long-term, fundamental engineering and physical sciences research and training in the UK, investing more than £850 million a year in a broad range of subjects – from mathematics to materials science, and from information technology to structural engineering, and remains absolutely committed to excellence and impact.
The EPSRC is the core funder of the LATEST2 Research Programme Grant, providing funding of £5.6 million in this critical field of research.
