One of the LATEST2 team's main goals is to forge strong links with leading industrial organisations both nationally and internationally. Strategic links are already established worldwide with a large number of industrial organisations and the team are working towards strengthening those existing links and establishing new ones.  This puts LATEST2 in an extremely strong position to ensure we are producing first class relevant research.

The LATEST2 team are also working to enhance our interaction with other world class universities and research institutes across the world with similar programmes and capabilities to compliment our own. A large number of partnerships are already established both nationally and internationally.

It is also vitally important for the LATEST2 is to improve awareness of our research and to showcase the benefits of science through its impact on economic growth and quality of life to audiences in schools and more general public arenas. The team are currently collaborating with a number of public bodies, as well as regional schools and colleges to maximise our impact.
